The Hanna Parachute Skirt is a slim and flattering a-line silhouette midi skirt made of upcycled military parachutes. Invisible side zipper closure, hook waistband. We love upcycled materials, and especially love retired military parachutes. Light as air,  these skirts are great travel items, easily machine or handwashable, dry in a flash, and can easily transition from day to evening. And the fabrics are not only upcycled, they are vegan. Seam details vary according to the original fabric construction. Each skirt is one of a kind. 100% nylon, lined in acetate. *The one of a kind pink Hanna is from a rare and unusual parachute and is made of cotton. Our entire parachute collection is created from 100% nylon retired military parachutes, rescued from potential landfill and reincarnated into unique, limited edition pieces. We hand-cut and create each look in our atelier. Lined in acetate. Garments in the parachute category are machine washable and tumble dry We cut the skirts on the long side to accommodate our tall clients. Altering/shortening skirt, length is easy. The skirts are bias and hang evenly with the floor. Mark your desired length using a ruler and cut it with scissors, allowing the hem edge to fray.
